Bard 113-259-5 is an OEM outdoor thermostat bracket used on Bard wall-mount air conditioners and heat pumps to securely mount and protect the outdoor thermostat in its correct location so it can sense outdoor temperature accurately for proper staging, defrost, or outdoor temperature related control functions (as applicable to your unit). This exterior cabinet component is finished in Desert Brown textured enamel to match factory units, and the exterior panel enamel coating used on Bard cabinet components has been tested to withstand over 1000 hours of salt spray tests per ASTM B117-03.
