Bard part number 5070-020 is an OEM heat recovery cassette assembly used in compatible Bard energy recovery ventilator and heat recovery ventilator configurations on select wall-mounted and packaged equipment. The cassette is the slide-out core that allows outdoor and exhaust airstreams to transfer energy without mixing, helping support proper ventilation performance and reducing unnecessary heating and cooling load when the unit is operating. When a cassette is damaged, contaminated beyond cleaning, or no longer turning freely, replacing it with the correct Bard OEM assembly helps restore designed airflow balance and recovery effectiveness while maintaining fit with the factory ERV compartment and service access.
