The Bard 553-560-8BX filter access door is an OEM exterior cabinet component that closes and protects the return air filter opening on select Bard wall mounted HVAC units while still allowing quick access for routine filter changes. Finished in Dark Bronze textured enamel to match factory units. Ensure this matches the color of your Bard unit for seamless replacement. Like other Bard exterior panels, the enamel cabinet paint coating has been tested to withstand over 1000 hours of salt spray tests per ASTM B117-03 to help hold up in harsh outdoor conditions.
