Bard 800-0017 - Cap Tube Assembly

The Bard 800-0017 cap tube assembly is an OEM refrigerant metering component used in select Bard wall-mounted air conditioner and heat pump refrigerant circuits to help regulate refrigerant flow for stable evaporator performance. Replacing a restricted, kinked, or leaking capillary tube assembly can correct poor cooling, erratic superheat, or icing symptoms while maintaining the factory-designed balance between the compressor, coil, and distributor. Because capillary assemblies are application-specific by length and internal diameter, match Bard 800-0017 to your unit model and serial and compare the original routing before installation; any refrigerant work should be performed by a licensed technician using proper evacuation and charging procedures.
