Bard 8000-348 - OEM scroll compressor replacement
Bard part number 8000-348 is an OEM replacement scroll compressor (Copeland ZP28K5E-TFD-130) used in Bard wall-mounted air conditioners to circulate refrigerant and restore proper cooling capacity and efficiency when a compressor has failed. This refrigerant and mechanical component is built to meet Bard performance requirements and is the correct choice when you need factory-fit connections and electrical characteristics for the original application. As with any compressor changeout, confirm the unit model and voltage/phase match, address the root cause of failure, and follow best practices for evacuation, filtration, and refrigerant charge to protect the new compressor at start-up.
