Bard 8103-016 is an OEM permanent split capacitor (PSC) condenser fan motor used on select Bard wall mounted packaged air conditioners, helping maintain proper condenser airflow for stable head pressure and reliable cooling. This 1/5 HP motor is designed for 208 to 230V single phase operation with clockwise rotation and is commonly referenced at 1090 RPM, making it a fit critical component when a unit has a noisy motor, slow fan speed, or nuisance trips from overheating. Verify the unit model and motor specs before ordering, including rotation direction, mounting style, frame size, and capacitor match, since Bard has also superseded this motor to newer part numbers on some applications.
