Bard part number 8104-009 is an OEM fractional horsepower motor rated 1/4 HP at 230/208V with CCW rotation, used in select Bard wall mounted HVAC equipment to drive the air moving assembly and maintain proper airflow across the coil. When a motor starts overheating, buzzing, or failing to come up to speed, replacing it with the correct Bard OEM motor helps restore designed RPM, rotation, and reliability so the unit can cool and ventilate as intended. Confirm the unit model and serial number compatibility before ordering, and verify rotation direction and wiring on the old motor so the replacement matches the original application.
