The Bard 8201-114 desuperheater control board is an OEM electrical control used in Bard HVAC systems equipped with a desuperheater option to manage the sequencing and safe operation of that heat recovery function. When this board is failing, you may see inconsistent desuperheater operation, nuisance shutoffs, or a desuperheater that will not enable even when the unit is otherwise running correctly. Replacing the control with the correct Bard part number helps restore proper command and interlock logic so the desuperheater operates as intended within the unit’s control circuit.
