The Bard 8201-119 heat pump control w/LPB is an OEM defrost and safety control board used on Bard heat pump equipment to manage the defrost sequence and protect the refrigeration circuit during low outdoor temperature operation. This board monitors the outdoor coil sensor to initiate and terminate defrost, controls key outputs such as the outdoor fan and electric heat during defrost, and provides built-in compressor anti short cycle timing along with diagnostic LED blink codes to help pinpoint pressure switch and defrost related faults.
