Bard 8403-062 - Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor
The Bard 8403-062 is an OEM remote indoor air temperature sensor designed to work with the Bard 8403-060 temperature and humidity controller when you need indoor temperature sensing from a better location than the controller itself. It connects to the controller ID and GND terminals using a simple two conductor run (polarity not important), and the controller setup lets you choose remote sensor only or an average of the remote sensor with the controller onboard sensor for steadier space temperature control. This sensor is a 10K ohm thermistor style input used by the controller to read room temperature accurately, and it is commonly installed in offices, classrooms, or other areas where wall stat location does not represent true occupied conditions.
