The Bard 8406-126 low pressure switch (auto reset) is an OEM refrigeration safety control used on Bard wall-mounted air conditioners and heat pumps to monitor suction pressure and protect the compressor during loss-of-charge, restricted airflow, or icing conditions that can drive pressures too low. When suction pressure drops below the factory setpoint, this switch opens to interrupt compressor operation; once pressure returns to normal it automatically resets so the system can resume cooling without a manual reset. Use Bard 8406-126 when you need the correct fit, wiring compatibility, and reliability expected from original Bard controls, and always confirm your model and serial number against the unit wiring diagram or service manual before ordering.
