Bard 8408-044 is a 10K ohm Curve J temperature sensor used on select Bard wall-mount and controller-equipped systems as a return air sensor and, in some applications, a suction sensor. It provides the control board with stable, accurate temperature feedback so the unit can stage cooling correctly, protect against nuisance alarms, and maintain consistent operation. This OEM sensor includes the 5/16 inch clip-style mount for secure placement in the intended location; confirm your unit model and the sensor position in the Bard service literature to ensure proper fit and correct readings when replacing a failed or out-of-range sensor.
