The Bard 8552-032 capacitor is an OEM round run capacitor rated 35 MFD at 370 VAC, used to provide the correct phase shift and steady electrical support for motor operation in Bard wall mounted and packaged HVAC equipment. A weak or failed run capacitor can cause hard starts, motor overheating, nuisance shutoffs, or a compressor or fan that hums without reliably running, so replacing it with the correct microfarad rating and equal or higher voltage rating is critical for proper operation.
