The Bard 8612-023A is an OEM remote space temperature sensor kit for compatible Bard MC lead-lag controllers, used when you need the controller to measure temperature from a different location than the control enclosure. With a 35 foot sensor lead, it is commonly installed to address hot spots, airflow barriers, or hard to condition areas so the controller can make staging and changeover decisions based on a more representative space temperature. On supported MC controllers, adding this remote sensor disables the onboard sensor and allows the system to control from the remote reading or an average when multiple sensors are used, helping restore stable operation and more consistent comfort when the controller location is not ideal.
