Bard part 9043-062 is an OEM fan/limit control (Honeywell L4064T1848 style) with an 8 inch insertion sensing element, used in Bard heating sections to manage blower fan operation based on supply air temperature while also providing a high limit safety shutdown if temperatures climb too high. As a combination control, it helps bring the indoor fan on after the heat exchanger warms up, cycles the fan off as the plenum cools, and protects the unit by opening the limit circuit on overtemperature. If you are replacing a failed or out of calibration fan limit, confirm the insertion length, mounting style, and temperature setpoints match your Bard model and serial range so the heater operates safely and the blower timing remains correct.
