Bard MC4001 is an OEM solid-state lead/lag control designed to sequence two Bard wall-mount HVAC units in a 2-unit, 2-stage setup, helping balance runtime and maintain stable space temperature in telecom, shelter, and equipment-room applications. This controller coordinates staging and rotation between the lead and lag unit so cooling demand is handled in an orderly way while reducing uneven wear on a single system, and it is intended for use with compatible Bard equipment and the proper field wiring per the MC4001 series installation instructions.
