The Bard S553-521-8 filter door assembly is an OEM exterior cabinet component used on select Bard wall mount and packaged HVAC units to secure the return air filter in place and provide quick access for routine filter changes. Finished in Dark Bronze textured enamel to match factory units, it helps maintain proper airflow by keeping the filter compartment closed and reducing bypass air that can lead to dirt buildup on internal components. Ensure this matches the color of your Bard unit for seamless replacement. Exterior panels with enamel cabinet paint coating have been tested to withstand over 1000 hours of salt spray tests per ASTM B117-03. This listing is for the panel only.
