The Bard S553-540-X is an OEM vent option door assembly used on compatible Bard wall-mounted HVAC units equipped with an ERV (energy recovery ventilator) vent option. This exterior cabinet component closes and seals the vent option opening so the ERV intake and exhaust airflow path stays properly managed and the unit cabinet remains weather-tight, helping maintain designed ventilation performance and preventing unwanted air or moisture intrusion. Finished in Beige textured enamel to match factory units. Ensure this matches the color of your Bard unit for seamless replacement. Exterior panels with enamel cabinet paint coating have been tested to withstand over 1000 hours of salt spray tests per ASTM B117-03. This listing is for the panel only.
