The Bard S8201-164 is an OEM compressor control module used on select Bard wall-mount and heat pump systems to manage compressor operation and help protect the refrigeration circuit during abnormal conditions. This plug-in control handles compressor timing and safety logic that can prevent nuisance lockouts and reduce the risk of short cycling when pressures or power conditions are not ideal.
